How does byMétis Cancellations work?

byMétis Cancellations helps you terminate subscriptions or contracts by creating and sending cancellation letters on your behalf to the companies you wish to cancel a subscription or contract with. You provide us with the necessary information, we create the cancellation letter, and you can either use the letter for free or have it created, printed, and sent by us for a flat fee of 32 euro.

What does it cost to send a cancellation letter via byMétis Cancellations?

We charge a flat rate of 32 euro for creating, printing, and sending your cancellation letter.

Will I receive a physical copy of my cancellation letter at home?

No, the cancellation letter will be sent directly to the company you wish to cancel the subscription or contract with. However, upon request, we can send you a digital copy of the cancellation letter by email. More information on this can be found in the next question.

Can I get a copy of the cancellation letter?

Yes, a copy of the cancellation letter is included in the confirmation email you receive shortly after using our service. Check your spam folder if you can't find the email immediately. If you would like an additional copy, please send an email to support@bymetis-ie.com and we will gladly send you a copy of the cancellation letter free of charge.

Will the cancellation letter actually be sent?

Yes, as soon as we receive your order, we take care of the shipping.

What do I do if I see an error in my cancellation letter?

Send us a message to support@bymetis-ie.com and we will correct the error. If the letter has already been sent, we will send you a new cancellation letter free of charge to the relevant company.

Are the company addresses you use correct?

We have gathered the data of all companies and check them regularly. If you find an error, please let us know.

Can I use byMétis Cancellations for any type of subscription or contract?

Yes, byMétis Cancellations supports you in canceling various subscriptions and contracts. Regardless of the industry or type of service, we are happy to help.

Does byMétis Cancellations have partnerships with certain companies or services?

No, byMétis Cancellations operates completely independently and has no partnerships with the companies we send cancellation letters to on your behalf. Our service is designed to send your cancellations legally and directly on your behalf to the respective companies.

Questions about payment and billing:

How and when will I receive the invoice?

You will receive the invoice by email, 14 days after sending the cancellation letter, with a payment term of 14 days.

What payment methods do you accept?

Payment is possible via through the link in our invoice email.

Can I pay in installments?

Yes, for installment payments you can contact us at support@bymetis-ie.com. We will check the options for a suitable payment arrangement that fits your situation together with you.

After sending the cancellation letter:

How long does it take for my cancellation letter to reach the organization?

After we have printed and sent your cancellation letter, it can take a few days to weeks depending on the postal service and the destination country for it to reach the organization.

How do I know that my cancellation letter has been processed?

From experience, we know that companies usually respond within thirty days to confirm whether the cancellation was successful or if further information is required. Our role is to ensure that your letter is carefully created and sent. For questions about processing after sending, we recommend contacting the respective company directly. They can give you the latest status of your cancellation request.

Do I still need to confirm my cancellation separately with the organization?

In most cases, this is not necessary. Once we have sent your cancellation letter, it is considered a valid cancellation.

Will my cancellation letter be automatically sent to the organization?

Yes, if you choose to have your cancellation letter sent by us, it will be immediately printed, stamped, and sent to the organization.

Can I cancel my cancellation letter after it has been sent?

Since our process is fully automated, cancellation letters that have been created and sent cannot be canceled or withdrawn. At the time of your request, byMétis Cancellations has already provided the service by carefully creating and sending the letter. If you still wish to cancel the cancellation after sending, we recommend contacting the company to which the letter was sent directly. They are the only party that can possibly take action to accommodate your request.

What can I do if my cancellation is not accepted?

If your cancellation is unexpectedly not recognized, it is advisable to contact the relevant organization directly for clarity. They can explain why your cancellation request was not accepted. Please note that our role is limited to supporting you with the creation and sending of the cancellation letter; after that, the responsibility for processing lies with the respective organization. Unfortunately, we cannot provide insights into the further processes at the organization itself.
